West on 35th St., South (left) on Nicollet Ave., then West (right) on 36th St. to Lake Calhoun (about 1 1/2 miles). Turn left on Lake Calhoun Pkwy., then left on William Berry Pkwy. From the South: Take Hwy. 35 W to 46th St. exit. Go West on 46th St. to Lake Harriett (about 1 mile). Turn right on Lake Harriett Pkwy. From the West: Take 50th St. to Minnehaha Pkwy. Go North on Minnehaha Pkwy. To Lake Harriet. Turn right on Lake Harriett Pkwy. Parking: There are parking lots on either side of the bandshell, and parking bays on both William Berry and Lake Harriett Pkwys. The parking lots free if you have a Minneapolis Parks Pass or they are pay lots at a charge of $.50 per hour. Gathering: We meet on the far end of the parking lot closest to the remote bathroom building. Mississippi River Road - St. Thomas Monument View Larger Map From the North: Take Hwy. 94 to Cretin Ave. exit. Go South on Cretin to Summit (about ¾ mile). Turn right on Summit, and continue to East River Road (about ¼ miles). From the South: Take Hwy. 494 West to Hwy. 55 North to Hwy. 5 North, and take the Edgcumbe/River Road exit. Take the River Road branch, and turn right on the River Road. Take the River Road to Cleveland Ave. (about ½ mile), and turn right. Take Cleveland to Summit (about 3 miles). Turn left on Summit, and continue to East River Road (about ¼ mile). Parking: There’s limited parking in the lot just South of the monument or there is street parking on the East side of River Road and on the south side of Summit. Gathering: We meet at the end of the parking lot closest to the drinking fountain **There are no bathroom facilities here. Luce Line Regional Trail View Larger Map Directions: Hwy. 494 to Carlson Pkwy. Exit. Go West on Carlson briefly, then turn right on Gleason Lake Road. Continue on Gleason for a little more than a mile, and turn right on Vicksburg Lane. Continue on Vicksburg about ¾ mile. The entrance to the Luce Line will be on the left, at 10th Ave. There’s a housing development (Cimarron Ponds) there – turn as if to go into the development, then veer to the left to the parking lot. Parking: In the parking lot. Gathering: In the parking lot, of course. Minnetonka Trail View Larger Map Directions: Take Hwy. 7 to Hopkins. At the Northwest corner of Hwy. 7 & Cnty. Rd. 73, there is a shopping mall with a Lund’s store. Turn into the mall parking lot. Parking: Park away from the store, close to the bank. Gathering: In the parking lot. Lake Nokomis View Larger Map From the South: Take Hwy. 494 or Hwy. 62 heading East to Cedar (77) North. At the second stoplight (Lake Nokomis Pkwy.), turn right and travel ¼ mile to the main parking lot on the right. From the North: Take I35 W to 46th St. exit. Go East on 46th St. to Cedar Ave. Go South on Cedar Ave. to lake Nokomis Pkwy.- about ½ mile. Go left on Lake Nokomis Pkwy. – 1 block to main parking lot and pavilion. Parking: In the main lot. Gathering: In the main lot at the beach and pavilion. Hyland Hills View Larger Map From the East: Take Hwy. 494 West to East Bush Lake exit, turn left at the light. Travel through the next light and for the parking lot on the right. From the West: Take 494 East to Normandale South (Hwy 100) to first light (84th St.), turn right to East Bush Lake Road and turn left, parking lot is on the right. Parking: In the parking lot. Gathering: In the lot, towards the back corner. Blake School View Larger Map From the East: Take Excelsior Blvd west to the intersection of Blake and Excelsior Road. The school and track are on the southwest corner. From the West: Take Hwy 169 north or south and exit at Excelsior Rd. Head East to the intersection of Blake and Excelsior Rd. The school is located on the southwest corner. Parking: Park on the street (Blake Road) right next to the track. Gathering: Meet on the track. St. Thomas University View Larger Map Directions: Take 94 East or West to Cretin / Vandalia exit.
