ANNUAL FAMILY MEMBERSHIP – $65
Membership fees go towards providing water/Gatorade stops during the summer months for long runs, “gu” products for those runs, keeping our message board and website up and running and towards helping put on an annual party for its team members, family and friends.
All team memberships include the option of running with the team up to 7 days a week and will also include suggested speed/strength workouts(for those not personally coached) on Tuesday’s and Saturdays. Team memberships in 2012 will include:
- A membership card good for discounts at most local running stores, a card that will be good for 10% off at all Blue Plate Restaurants (Edina Grill, Groveland Tap, Longfellow Grill, Highland Grill, 3Squares, Scusi and The Lowry)
- A card that will be good for 10% off on all beer, wine and spirits at France 44 Liquor Store.
- Summit Beer is also provided at team tailgate parties and other team social gatherings.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
You will receive a detailed training program that will include:
- Running questionnaire to provide the coach with your running background, accomplishments and goals
- Training programs that are broken into 6 week segments that will focus on different key components for each segment. I.E. Hills, tempo runs, intervals
- Emails containing information and reasoning behind certain workouts, articles on nutrition, hydration, sports psychology and race strategies.
- Suggested workouts for 7 days a week (including cross training or days off)
- Specific interval workouts for the speed training day.
- Specific race plan created by the coach and assistant coach prior to key race
- Suggested mileage for workouts and overall week
- Specific paces for each of those workouts
- Suggested races to be run
- Suggested recovery after a key race
- Access to the coach via email, phone or in person for any questions or concerns you may have as often as you’d like throughout the year.
WHAT THE COACH EXPECTS FROM YOU
- Commitment to the program.
- Register yourself on the MN RED page of RunningAhead.
- Fill in your log on RunningAhead regularly and have it set up so that the coach can view your workouts.
- Regular communication with the coach on how you feel throughout the training and any questions you may have.
**New runners to the personalized training program should schedule a face to face meeting with the coach to answer any questions about the program before or immediately after signing up for coaching.
